skipping a beat

My '89 f250/C6 skips a little every once in a while when I'm driving down the highway right around 55 - 60 mph. Only on the higway at that speed, never around town. It runs fine otherwise. Anyone ever heard of this before? Got any suggestions what the peoblem might be?

I had the same problem with my f150 once and i know this sounds silly but it wound up being a bad spark plug wire boot. Check your plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I'm sure it's something simple.
