Today I bought all 3 1978 factory service manuals for my '78 off craigslist for $30. One is for the engine, one for the body & electrical, and one for the chassis. Hopefully I didn't pay overpay. They were worth $30 to me so I guess that's ok. Does anyone know the going rate?

Overpay? You stole them! And finding all three is a big plus, most times only one or two can be found.Go to faxonautolit.com, see what Faxon's asking price is.
The CD versions were never offered by Ford, the original factory manuals are bound paper.
These were printed by Helm (helminc.com) who has printed all of FoMoCo's literature since the late 1940's.

How bout these??? Complete sets from 73-79 (missing only 2 books to the entire year range)...plus 69,70,71 Car and 66 truck (missing one book to the 66 truck one as well...PLUS...I have an extra set of 73 and an extra set of 78 truck manuals. I also have 3 set of wiring diagrams...and a body builders book as well...all factory ford stuff....and numerous other things FORD!!! LOL
