NEWBE with a question

1986 F150 4x4 300ci, 4 speed. HOW much to completly rebuild truck?
talking engine, body, front suspension, ect etc

the whole thing??

Alot of money depending on how you do it. Figure rebuilding the engine and trans alone to be at least 3-5k if you cant do it yourself, add in body work and a paint job thats another 3-5k, then interior, etc, etc. Oh figure about spending at least 10 grand if you want a perfect restore.

how bad is it? it would be better suited to just worry about the essentials. but if its terrible your are def looking at 10k if not more

a big question is if you are doing everything or if a shop will. if a shop does it, your cost is more than doubled when you compare the price of yourself doing it.

Most shops charge $120.00 an hour and up depending on difficulty. The question is, how much can you do yourself, and how much do you love your truck and what it will become?
