05 expedition hicup?
I have an 05' and when in OD only I have a hicup type problem. Between 40 and 50 mph I have what feels like the ignition is cutting out or the trans wants to downshift, but doesn't. If I take OD off it does not do it even at the same RPM, it happens only in OD. It happens only when try'ing to apply slight throttle, if I am off throttle it does not do it. Totally confused on even where to look, the throttle bodies have been replaced about 25K miles ago with genuine ford parts at the dealer. Truck has about 110K on it and has only been doing it for the last 1K miles or so. Someone told me there is a relay in the trans that could be the problem, but I don't know.
Where should I look or should I just give it to the stealership and let them do a diagnostic test and look for any codes? Thanks for the help GIC22.
