my 1960 project

need help figureing out how to put a 360 in my 1960 f250 it had a 292 in it we were thinkin we had to take the crossmember out the truck the motor came out help

Not to hijack this thread nice1960f250 but following are a couple of the many sources of crossmembers for an "fe" swap in a 1960. This swap has seen plenty of action in the past, mostly 390's, occasionally a 428, and...dare I say it...even 427's. The outside of the block is the same as a 360. I don't think you have to remove the original crossmember and I would want to leave it for the strength anyway.
