86 302 doesn't seem right
Hey guys it's been a while since I've been on here. I picked me up an 86 f150 with efi 302 aod. Here is whats happening it will start and idle fine all day long. The issue is driving down the road holding the pedal steady at about 60mph I start losing speed until the transmission senses the rpm and then down shifts to compensate the speed. It can do this all day long and I can actually watch the gas guage moving witin 5 miles. It act like its overloading while driving but its not burning black smoke and I'm not smelling any fuel. I can get 10 mile to a 1/4 tank it sucks. Any ideas or possibilities fro me to look at . Thanks Bill

I had a similar problem and found out a fuel injector was stuck open and dumping fuel into my crankcase. Make sure your oil level isn't going up. My mechanic just tapped on the top of the injectors with a screwdriver handle a few times and it straightened up. Good luck
