Water in Fuel

I stopped on the side of the road to change tunes on my Diablo programmer and when I started my truck the 'water in fuel' light was on. I drained about a quart from the filter drain (at least that's what I think it is) but the light is still on. Do I need to replace the filter? Is it possible that there isn't water in the fuel? I have gone 150 miles since last fillup before the light came on and don't know how I cold've gotten water in the system.

Best thing to do right now is to go buy more than one fuel filter(just in case) and then open up the filter canister to see what's up.

Put you a clear Coke bottle over the end of the drain tube and catch what drains out. If it's water, you will see it.

Is the truck running OK?
You may have fuel that will run but has a water content high enough to detect. Run the fuel level low and refill at another station unless you discover another source of the water.

And change the tune back or change it back to stock just to rule out a computer issue.
