Aright when my 86' bronco warms up and i start accelartating i can hear a whistle sound. and as i ease down on the gas i can hear it even worse but as i let the gas all the way out so it just coasts it stops. Someone told me it might be the vaccume hose might be disconected but i have no idea where that is. or even if that is the problem. I really need help, with at least telling me where the vaccume hose is or if any one has had this problem tell me what it is please!!!
My 96 5.0 whistles a merry little tune at idle or coasting when the temps are below 10 degrees F. after it has had a chance to warm up going down the freeway it quits
My 96 whines so loud while its cold (and sometimes warm), you would think there is a turbine starting up. It sounds like its either the power steering pump and/or tranny. Ive learned to live with it. These broncos tend to whine.
Its more of a whistle like you cut a hole in a peice of hose and plugged one end and blew threw the hose and the air whistles threw the little hole you cut, kinda like that. and now it seems to like to randomly unscrew the fuel filter housing(my bronco has a 4 barrel holley carb) and i cant figure out why its doing that either. the whistle is still really ambiant, i cant figure out what it is or even where it is. and like i stated before it starts on acceleration or if i have the gas on say going a steady 20 but as soon as i let off it stops. if any one has had this problem with there 86 or any year i really need help.
