I am leveling my 04 F250 Diesel and putting 18" wheels. I need help with tires as I don't have a clue. What I would like is to find out what you are running how many miles are on them and what you like and don't like. You can even rate it on a scale of 1-10. Let the fun begin.
I would like All Terrains...I live in Utah and therefore am in the snow. I pull a 19 foot boat, 16 foot enclosed trailer with 4 wheelers, and a 30 foot toy hauler trailer. No not at once so all of my towing is for fun.
ill tell ya something bout these superdutys or any 250,350 fer that matter, there picky critters in the snow, sand, mud, wet grass or general offroad, thay got a strict diet when it comes to tires...and thats M/T only. Less u like getting stuck and getting pulled out by yer friends or a tow truck
Its because of there weight and wheel base on the longer models, f150 and rangers dont have this problem with weight and M/T is not a must fer them. I had all 3 and offroaded all
I have had 4 fords and ran BFG's on all of them. I switched from Toyo, not because they are a bad tire per-se, but because they are expensive and i only got 40k miles out of them. The BFG's i get 55-60k per set. After 7 sets of them, i wont run anything else
