New Life finally!

Well I finally got all my tune up parts that I needed to get new life back into the old 79 460 F350! It runs now but rough. To date: New battery, cables, solenoid, ignition switch, ignition module, coil, wires, plugs, choke tube gasket, inline fuel filter and a carb rebuild kit. Some of the parts I have put on to get things working right again but the wires, plugs, carb kit, inline fuel filter and coil I will be installing soon! I will let everyone know how it runs. It should run great after this, crossing my fingers. LOL

Well I got everything put on except rebuilding the carb! Even with out touching the carb yet you can tell an amazing difference these new parts did for this old rig. It kicked over with one turn of the key. The carb is in great need of rebuild you can tell but I'm very happy with the results.

Sure does. I new it needed all of this just because most the parts are still original or very old you could tell. I dont think the coil was changed out, wires or the ignition module since it was new. She is coming along now though and its fun too. Next I have the mechanic at work helping rebuild the carb then I will get after all the old grease build up. I need tie up some wires hanging and sort some other stuff out, but at least I can drive it around the yard at work and take in and out of the shop when I need too.
