Power window problem

On my way to work today a put the window and noticed that on the way down, the speed of the window would slow down and then pick back up about every 2 inches of movement. None of the other windows were doing it, just the drivers side window. This happens in the auto down option as well as the non-auto mode as well. I can hear the motor changing pitch in unison with the speed change.

Has anyone else had this issue before?

Thanks,

Q.

the problem seems to have gone away today. Hopefully it never comes back!

Let us know if it comes back. I won't be putting my windows down until spring, so I won't/wouldn't be much help until then.

will do. Gonna be out of town for work for a few weeks and then off to Buffalo, NY to get married. Sure hope it doesn't get stuck in the down position up there!

Hopefully when you come up to the Buffalo area in a couple weeks we will be out of the 10-20 degree range. 8-10 this morning with 20+ wind speeds. Several good dealers up this way if you have problems.

I'm more worried about the amount of snow, i'd hate to have to reschedule my wedding. I don't think that would go over very well with the soon to be wife. I believe she would turn into a bridezilla like on TV.

And before anyone flames me for knowing about that tv show, that is when i get my Ford-Trucks.com time in!
