I cant wait!! Should really make this feel like a totally different truck from all my research.
At least now the exchange is pretty dang good since the Canadian dollar is just slightly over par with the US last time I checked but you still get dinged afew percentage points for getting the conversion.

HAHA yeah, nice how that works. Banks get ya one way or another!
But the Canadian dollar is something I am happy about
Good luck keeping the truck together... 300hp over stock?? ... I wouldn't want to be your tires!!!
Yeah, I am not gonna be using that one very often, but I have to hit SIR with it once to see what it can do. I hear the transmissions arent overly happy with that much extra power.
I plan on using the 150hp Street tune day to day, and if I can keep my foot out of it there is supposed to be 3-5 mpg inprovements too.
I'll put in the 280hp when I need to take care of business against a GM or Dodge, or ricer.
Opening up that exhaust and giving these engines some air will make them what they can be!
Does Eric have an EGR disable on his 6.4 tunes? I ran Innovative tuning on my 6.0 and the product and support were super!!!
I think there was mention of a few guys having issues removing sensors from the DPF - something to watch for...
Laredo, I honestly cant confirm that they do or don't, what I remember from research was that with the SCT devices you could turn EGR on/off.
I will find out forsure on Saturday, I know the 6.4's use the EGR to relieve backpressure, and that over 250hp tunes it shouldnt be disabled. When I get the money, I want to do a full EGR delete with a wastegate.

I talked to a guy today and he has 2 trucks with 6.4's - both stock. He has done transmissions in both of them. His DRW had 2000 kms on it when it died. I think this guy was as cursed as I was with my 6.oh!!! I think they are bulletproof stock, and from what I have read, almoist as bulletproof up to 210 hp increase...
Funny, when I was at the local Ford dealer on tuesday, I listened to 2 farmers argueing about their 6.4L diesels. On was stating that his was the biggest POS on wheels, and that it was pointless to have put wheels on the turd... The other guys was two million % pleased with his 6.4L, best truck he'd ever owned...
just goes to prove............
Quite frankly, the thought of tuning/modifying a truck and voiding the factory warranty just creeps me out.
