4r55e 2nd gear
95 2wd explorer. I have adjusted the bands -120lbs minus 2 turns though no adjustment was needed. Replaced the shift pack with an overhauled one purchased on ebay with all mods done to it and replaced the two servo pistons which were hard as a rock. It shifts into 1,3,4 gears fine. it shifts into 2nd gear if you let off the gas. there is no slipping and the shift into 2nd is firm when the rpm's drop and it does shift. I still need to replace the seals on the low/ reverse band servo piston. just awaiting for them to come in. also I noted when you select 2nd gear to drive in it uses 1st only. when you select 1st gear it also 1st gear. It definitly uses all 4 gear when in drive mode. just a delayed shift into 2nd.
