EGR Problem
I have a 1992 F250 with a 5.0 E4OD and I have a problem with the EGR system. When I'm driving along at a lower RPM with a steady throttle, the engine will have a "wavey" RPM / Vacuum supply. I have a vacuum gauge and it'll bounce around a lot when it does this but the tach doesn't really move. So I made a block plate for the EGR and it stopped doing it. It hass still all hooked up but nothing flowed through. I might just leave it blocked but if it's a simple fix I'll just repair it. What causes this? I've never had a code. It's been like this for a very long time. Vacuum hose are brand new too! is it the vacuum regulator or EVP? I'll leave it blocked if it's too much. This truck is trouble haha! Thanks in advance!

No you can clean them but if the filter goes bad from age you need to replace the solenoid.
