thanks supercab, I used the original headliner, I was going to go to Home Depot and get a sheet of something else, but never found a good substitute.<O

I got the trim off of some old tan panels just drilled the holes for the tabs on mine and that was it. the tabs just bend over on the back side.

The chrome trim on the standard plastic door panel is a Ranger package item. They did not have inserts, only the chrome outline trim mounted to the panel. The Ranger XLTs, Lariats, Explorers, Indy 500s etc had various styles of inserts. Here are the panels in my '79 F250 Ranger. The section inside the chrome is a lighter shade of green, but it is just a paint or a dye over the plastic, no insert.
