FRAM Air Filters

I've read several threads regarding Fram oil filters and its construction. How about their air filters? Any opinions about them?

A few people complained about the cap coming off the end of their stock-style paper filters for the V10. I tried one once, and it definitely looked odd after a while, like the paper was sagging.

I used a Fram Air Hog, which is a cotton non-oiled type, and it was great.

I don't really have anything negative to say about Frams air filters. I have been putting them on vehicles for years with no complaints. Not my own vehicles but other vehicles I maintain. My trucks are special.

I have been using fram air-filters for years ( not oil filter though ) . Sometimes that is all I can find . I would like to check the air filter during oil changes, just to make sure nothing funny is going on inside the filter ( split or cracked filter head , delaminated strings of hot-melt glue , etc. ) . Also make sure that it is seated and sealed correctly in the filter housing .
