T18 shift extension

Does anyone know what size the threads are for the shifter **** on a t18, I have bent my shifter as far back as I can while still clearing the bench seat in 4th and 3rd gear is still to far out for comfort. I am looking to get a shift extension preferably one thats at a 45 degree angle. 'd rether not make a second bend in the shifter in case I need to return it to stock.

Parts catalog only lists the ****'s part number, not the thread size. But I'm curious about something.

If 3rd is too far away, what about reverse?

T-18: Reverse is up, towards the dash.

New Process 435 (NP435): Reverse is down, towards the seat.

T-18's used w/2WD / NP435 used with both 2WD & 4WD and is far more common.

Its a t-18 reverse it to the right and up my reverse gate is broke as well I took the top off to put the new shift rods in but the ones inside of it are held in with some kind of pins so I'll have to save it for when I have more time. I don't mind leaning forwards to grab reverse its just when I have to do it each and every time I go to grab third it gets annoying.

I think I have figured it out the hurst indy shifter that was in the truck is a 3/8-24 thread and I put the **** from it on my 4 speed and it fits fine so now all I have to do is find a extension.
