I have this setup on my 67 stang. Pertronix ignitor in the dizzy, and an MSD-6AL box. I like it, it idles a lot smoother, just seems to make the whole car run a lot nicer. I didn't get to drive it too much tho before I put it away for the winter. The best advice I can give you if you do this, is read thru the enitire manual for the MSD box. I read the first diagram that looked similar to my setup and wired it in, and my car wouldn't start. Turns out there was a specific diagram for hooking up to a pertronix that I didn't see on the very last page. I moved one wire, and my car started right up. I am however purchasing an MSD dizzy next month to try and solve some timing issues, but it is a good reliable setup.
