Please help with MAP and TPS
So I bought a 90 with a 4.9 back in October. After a couple of weeks it started spitting and coughing and would stall every time I went in gear or pulled away from a stop. Scanned and coded MAP and TPS. Noticed in the glove box a receipt for a MAP replaced by a mechanic from July, but thought what the heck, electronic parts are crappy these days so the former owner might have gotten a bad one. Head to the parts store and get a new MAP but TPS was out of stock and they ordered me one. Replaced the MAP and truck ran beautifully. Got the TPS and got around to replacing it the other day and 2 days later got same symptoms as before but maybe even a little worse this time. Scanned and got MAP and TPS again and also a code 10 which I can't find anything about. Could I have blown another MAP sensor already? Truck's in Florida so it's not freezing or anything. New TPS didn't clear that code either and what the heck does 10 mean? Anybody out there have any ideas?
