So here it'd whats been done, new cap rotor plugs(copper) wires icm. Ignition timing has been checked 10 times i have 41psi at the fuel rail noid light says all injectors are firing and if I put a 9v battery on each fuel injector I can hear it open and watch the pressure drop i have put a spark tester on each cylender and it is more that hot enough also one bt one and

Watched each plug spark next to the noid light and looked good all the compression is@ 120-130 i have also inspected the entire wire harness and pulled the right valve cover only to find it clean well oiled and functioning..
Wtf!! Oh and if I spray starter fluid in the tb idle is better and the power is back....
89 f250 with a 351 efi (no maf) motor has 10k on a rebuild by previous owner if any one can help it would be awesome!

Sounds like a distributor issue...Are you reading fuel pressure under load or static

sounds like a fuel filter to me. even tho there is good pressure at idle there may not be enough delivery to run it under load

Any codes? Could be a clogged converter. This may sound funny but my 90 was doing this turned out to be the tps.

Should check fuel pressure under a load, static pressure may read 41 (without vac) at idle...but a load changes pump demands as the injector pulse (BTW) is the filter installed correctly...just saying

same problem with my 91, atempted to fix by checking or replacing all of the above, try unbolting your cat at the flange and see how it will run, fixed my problems, installed a new cat and it runs like a champ now, hope it helps
