Has anyone found a positive outlook on the future from any of the......re-organizational or doomsayer groups on the 'net?
Not looking for any political or religious toned links, more so the practical solutions that may take some co-operative effort.
All I found were these very depressing links, kind of a review now:
People won't change if it is presented to them this seriously, we have to be positive and optimistic about the future, the audience(me and you) must feel engaged in the dialogue, these make me feel like I am being "talked down to" even though I can follow along just fine, especially because I get the feeling they assume everyone that watches these will be as smart as they are(still questionable), they should have dumbed it down a little as it should be watched by the masses around the world that were not given the education to know who all these people are that they talk about and big words they throw around:
5 minute trailer of their new movie out now and availabe for free downloading if you check the description, I'm going to wait a week and see what I can find before diving into it:

1 hour & 37 minute of boring monotone voiceover text & graphics (I feel like I'm back in a bad highschool class about to fall asleep on my desk from how little the teacher cared in his voice about the subject)
-about how we all made the wrong choices to get here, blah, blah, blah,

Oh by the way, these were zeit geist links,
Please please please if you find ANYTHING with a positive spin related to how we can improve this system we are stuck in, post it here, thank you.
P.S. I've not stopped looking, if I find anything positive I will share it here too.

The links I posted seem to me to be BS, and a lot of fear-mongering, and they get posted in a lot of forums.
There are problems in this world, in every country, that need solving through practical means, that is what I'm looking for, links to groups or organizations that are making a positive difference with new or old technology in all or some of the countries in the world.
The first video was really silly. It sounded like a hooty-annie scare!
I watched the second video for about 10-minutes.
Big business runs this country and always will.
As far as our use or mis-use of resources, I have to disagree. That pile of cars shown in the junkyard will be recycled. Recycling is a big industry in itself. They are in the yard by either they reached the end of their life cycle or were likley totaled out in a wreck. Cars are now lasting longer than ever and are more maintenance free. Our applliances and gadgets are the real problem.
From personal experience the goods we are mostly buying from places like China are of the worst quality and force a shorter life span. They are tending to be very disposable. Plus, look at the poisonous crap they've been selling to us! After hearing about the bad sheet rock to deadly children's toys we should say the heck with them!
How much more would it really cost to build a quality product here in the states? Yeah, production costs are less when things are made over seas, but look at the crap we are getting!
Don't laugh, my parent's first refrigerator (from 1950) lasted like yearly 50 years. In it's mid-life, it got retired to the cellar to keep beer and wine cold. It was the most rugged appliance I ever saw.
I read it before I replied. You cannot post political links and try to dodge under the wire by asking for nonpolitical replys. The video link says they are nonpolitical but that itself is a political statement. Their proposed social engineering is a political process.

Yes, I agree. Now it is on our forum too.

No argument there. But in most cases if they don't align politicaly to meet their goals, politics will hinder their implementation.
