Average Gauge Temps for Pyro, boost, auto trans?
I just installed my autometer lunar gauges and my pyro only reads around 200 at idle and around 800 at 70mph. the auto temp gauge reads around 125-135 after driving for 5 mins after initial warmup. Both temps seem way too cool? I installed the pyro exactly 2 inches from the turbo outlet and the trans sender in on the side of the tranny just above the pan. Am i doing something wrong? I mountd the pyro there because I was told that post turbo reads both banks and if a turbo bearing goes out you wil know it? I dont know if the bearing thing is true though. Maybe someone could shed some light on this and give me temps for there setups on a stock PSD.
Thanks

) Do you have a stock exhaust or larger exhaust? you can really tell the diffrence with a larger one because it flows faster and beter. I don't know much about the automatic because I haven't been around them maybe somebody could back me up on that. also when cooling down let the pyro read 300 degrees or lower to prevent oil burning up your bearings in the turbo. that will prolong the life of them. oh forgot to mention personally I wouldn't let the pyro get any higher than say 1250 F. My buddy has a cummins that got to 1600 while making a full pull at the local truck/tractor pull and nothing happened but put new bearings in to be on the safe side.
