Superchip experiences
Does anyone have any good or bad input on the brand name Superchip? I am looking at the 60-75 hp tow chip, I have a 2000 ford 250 crew psd, with automatic, and I would like a little better performance during the tow of a 10,000 lb 5th wheel. Help......

I have a 2001 psd, sc, auto, 2wd and have a HyperTech power programmer III I use. It changes the settings in the pcm to gain hp and torque. I'm quite satisfied with the performance. No other mods at this time. I have a 12,900 lb 5th wheel trv trlr and it goes just about anywhere we want. We're going to the western states later this spring and that will be a better test. good luck.

I had a Superchips programer, engine run great but trans shift was still mushy. Went to the Diablo Delta and wow what a nice shift and great power. Waiting for the Diablo Predator to show up now.

I have the Superchips microtuner on my truck , and am very pleased with it's performance. I havent used the 80hp setting due to stock downpipe and exhaust , but hopefully that will change soon....

My 12,500 pound fiver is no problem for my truck. Steep hills still strain me down. But it is 10 times better now with the programer and exhaust. I can pull most passes at traffic speed. I have manual tranny though.
