No. I'm talking about the housing that the EGR valve fits into. My ticket called that a manifold.

 

ya thats the part that gets replaced when the egr vlave wont come out or breaks off when you attempt to remove it

 

I have seen over at the Ram sites that they just unplug thier EGR and it turns it off. any chance we can do the same?

 

As you can tell from the questions I have I'm no expert, but I believe you need something to reprogram the computer. You can get a tuner that will disable the EGR as it sits, or one that will allow you to block it off. But I don't think you can just unplug it.
