transfer case lowering question

hey guys i got a question bout the transfercase in my 93 f250 7.3 idi. my question is do they make a lowering kit for my transfer case n if so how does is work. iv also seen trucks where it looks like the transfer case has been rotated down to lessen the angle of the driveshaft, what is it call when they do this n how hard would it be to do it to my truck. all info will be appreceated

Is your TC married to your trans? Or divorced?

Generally speaking, because I have no experience with your setup. Rotating the TC is called "clocking". Done to allow one to fit between frame rails where it wasn't designed too. By rotating the TC lowering the angle on the rear driveshaft, raises the front, often offset by using a high pinion front diff.

on this new of a truck, it would be a married transfer case, but if there was a way to make it a divorced transfercase like the old hiboy set up, that would be the cats ***
