300/5spd-EFI to 351w/5spd-Carb?

I'm currently in the process of buying another '92-'96 model F-150, and I have toyed with the notion of swapping the '91 351w PI engine I have sitting here, into the truck.......It'd be something different for sure....

So I have came up with this list of part, etc that I will need...

351w Engine-Carbed- Already have
302/351w Truck Engine Mounts
Complete Wiring Harness for the engine- Already have
1980-1986 model gas tank
1980-1986 model carb style fuel lines
351w Radiator- Already have

Anyone know of any parts I may have missed? If I have missed them, please add them.....As far as I am concerned, putting the new tanks, fuel lines, engine mounts and radiator in, well, that's a cinch.....

And seeing as the 300/302/351 all use the same bellhousing, the engine would mate up simply enough.....

The only real issue I have came up on is the wiring harness.....But the carbed engine isn't going to have any MAJOR issues as far as I can think of....Not gonna throw any codes, etc....

The only thing I can think of is the instrument cluster.....Will the carbed engine have an effect on the speedo, fuel, battery, oil, and temperature gauges?

Just a thought...

everything i would think would work, but the tach, i went and bought all mechanical gages for mine, but maybe someone will have an idea for that. the wiring harness is from what year? you have a mechanical fuel pump engine? but the flywheel, the 300 and 351 have a different balance, you can get the flywheel rebalanced, but in mine i'm just going to get a new flywheel cause it cost about the same as getting it rebalanced. exhaust is another thing obviously. distributor???

The gauges will work without changing over the harness, just plug the oil pressure and water temp plugs onto the senders in the new engine. Also, no need to change out the tank, pumps, lines etc. Just use a return style pressure regulator and put the fuel pump relay on a constant ground. Remove the CEL and you are good to go.
