Bi-fuel ECU replacement
I have a 99 F150 5.4, at, 2wd, bifuel. The independant service tech says the ECU is bad. Ford says 'no longer available', junk yard search cant find one. Napa and Carquest say not available.
The part number is: XL3F-12A650-AKE
The 'AKE' is special for bi-fuel vehicles. I don't use the bi-fuel, can I substitute a non-bifuel ECU for this one as long as it is for 5.4,AT,2wd, gas?
