F150 vs F250
Hello all, I have been posting in the F150 area for a while and now have a question for everyone in here. I currently drive an 05 Supercrew XLT, 4x4, 5.4L. 104,000 miles. I just recently replaced both front actuators and ended up putting in a new front differential. Truck runs great as well as 4x4 now. Also added a factory stereo out of an 07 to include satt. radio. And 4 6x9 polk audio speakers. Sounds pretty good. Im really looking for an F250 diesel for the pulling power. I dont pull real often but when I do I like to have the power to do so. Im looking at an 06 F250 Lariat 6.0L diesel 4x4 with 180,000 miles. Seems like a lot more miles to me but of course it is a diesel. They NADA book pretty close.
Was wondering if this sounds like a good trade or should I wait for a better just outright buy? Also since I have never owned a diesel what should I look for when I go see this truck?
All opinions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard

Diesels will pull more, however you said you were towing much? So how often and how much wt?
Diesels require a bit more maintance so your costs will increase a little in that area.
They don't do well with short commutes/stop and go traffic.
They need to get up to temps and stay there a bit.
