What do you do with that extra fuel?
I hope you keep it in an authorized storage container.

Yeah, the EPA has me at the top of their major polluters list for drizzling fuel down the hiway all the time. It's getting to be a real pain stopping all the time and siphoning fuel out. I think I'm gonna have to make a decision to either take out the Tornado or the fuel line magnet.

I formerly ran my truck with methane plumbed from the backend of forty thousand sheep. But once i installed the Tornado air impeller, my fuel tank stayed full so then i made a large batch of lamb chowder. signed, Sheepless in Seattle.

Excuse me but the Tornado works. It improves the HP/weight ratio of the truck by lightening your wallet.

Unfortunately, use of "The T" was necessary. T didn't care much for the fool talk about the tornado thing, and he certaintly isn't going to allow discussion of fuel saver magnets.

Ok, I may be inserting foot into mouth after posting this but maybe its because I really don't understand why either of these products would do what they claim to do. But on the Motor Haven site they sell Poweraid Throttle Body Spacers. And it appears that they spin the incoming air. So what is the differance between this and the Tornado?? or is there not one and they both suck??

Well the main reason i used the spacer when i did my throttle body change is because it came with the throttle body. So i can't say one way or the other if it works because i went from the stock tb to a 75mm one.

I have heard mixed reviews for the Trhottle Body Spacers. I do not have any dyno specs to back up what I'm going to say, but you do notice a stronger 'feel' to the engine with the Spacers, maybe not much, but some.

The Tornado actually is put into the intake tube, which restricts the amount of air that can free-flow. The Spacer is put between the throttle body and intake. It does not restrict any air - it is 'supposed' to swirl the air.

I do know a spacer does something to the air. I ran one on my 302 for over a year before I installed the Eaton supercharger. I left it on when I put the s/c on, but the s/c would not perform or push air like it hsould have. Took the spacer off, and it cured the problem. I can only guess the air is swirled some way, and when it did and went into the s/c it would not spin correctly?!?!?!?

My two cents...

Yes the spacer isn't made for forced induction due to the turbulance the spacer causes it acts like a resrictor for supercharging, but it seems to have abigger pull ill pull the new throttle body out put the old one back one with the spacer and see what it does.

Take the tornado and tack weld it to your wifes egg beater and it whips anything in the bowl into a real fine meal. 70 dollar food mixer. I love it.
