ABS light
Hey guys,
My ABS light came on a while back. I test test the breaks in a parking lot and sure enough abs did not work. So I ohmed out the two front wheel sensors and the one in the rear end. The rear end gave a differant reading so I replaced it. Did the parking lot test and the work but the light is still on. Do I have to clear it?

Hi Shane,
Some trucks do have to have the ABS memory codes cleared with a scan tool to turn off the light. I think the best thing to do would be to have someone scan the system and clear the codes. Then if the light comes on again you could retrieve codes and see what showed up again. If the light doesnt come back on you're good to go
