How to request an official Build Sheet
#32
It didn't find a sticker for my F100 (not surprising) and it didn't find one for my 97 F150 ether which, I was really hoping to get. My guess is it's for vehicles sold within the past 10 years... But it doesn't hurt to try.

Build Sheet
I don't have the link, but I just sent an email through the Ford website to customer service--it breaks it down to different topics/departments. Sorry, I don't remember which department, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I got an email from a real person acknowledging receipt of the request and I got the letter in about 6 weeks.
Also, FYI they said my 1986 was too old to get the window sticker reprinted.

Here's my scanned copy of the build sheet. Last name has been misspelled.
A couple surprises here: 1 Truck had a factory chrome rear step bumper. 2 I see a generic listing for "White tape stripe". 3 No mention of which Explorer package (A,B or C).
I guess they've gotten a bit vague on some of their info lately. No mention of what wheels/wheel covers were installed either...
By the time I bought the truck, the chrome rear step bumper was gone, replaced with an aftermarket painted step bumper, which had been on it for quite some time.
I just love how they called it a "rear step and bumper"......
As expected, no mention of A/C. I knew it was dealer installed from the very beginning. 2 seperate blower motors along with seperate heater & A/C boxes were a dead giveaway.
And now, for the moment we've been waiting for:
