How to request an official Build Sheet

You should be able to call Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. I mean, my truck was made in Oakville, Ontario, and bought here in the States, so they should be able to get you squared away.

Wow, I must say, the CRC reps are EXTREMELY helpful. I called, gave them my info and was told that 91 and newer build sheets usually take 7-10 business days, older models can take up to 8 weeks, but they are available as far back as 1967.
I was also given a few websites and off-line retails phone numbers for restoration parts.
I was given the option for a build sheet via e-mail, or regular mail. I asked if they could do both, and was told no problem......

Hey guys, I'm glad your experiences with the CRC were positive as well. To be honest, I was thoroughly impressed with their enthusiasm and helpfulness when I called. Hopefully your build sheets come in soon. Post up when you get them, tell us what's on 'em!

I've requested a few build sheets via their email at crcfmc@ford.com
You need to include the VIN of your vehicle, name, and address. You'll get a follow up email in around 24 hours letting you know your request has been forwarded to their Research Center. Average time seems to be about a month and half to two months for snail mail.

Well, this is not "OFFICIAL" build sheet but I think it works REALLY well!

Called them up today for my '80 and my '97, and the nice lady said you can get the window stickers online now at this address:
After it says "vin=" you type your VIN and hit enter. It hasn't worked on any of mine so far... I think it only works on the newer style VINs too. I'm out of luck, but it's worth a shot.

Enter your VIN directly after "vin=" and hit enter.
