I think people buy these to do the same thing people do with a million dollar Jackson Pollack painting. Set it there and look at it and tell people how much it cost you. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you wanna do. Some of them really do look neat and I'm glad someone is willing to shell out the bucks so I can see it. But they're bought as a work of art, if you will. Not to use.

They're asking more for the first truck than they have in it. Guess you gotta make a profit if you're gonna spend that much money on it.

I love how all these trucks get all done up with loud fancy custom paint, chrome and accessories, then someone decides to sell it, goes on about how custom it is and wants an outrageous sum of money for something that was customized to HIM. If you do some crazy loud paint scheme on your house, the realtor will tell you to repaint it if you want to sell it, cause it decreases the value. OR, you could just say CUSTOM and triple the price.

The ones that really crack me up, are the little bit older trucks on CL with huge lifts and big bald tires. They're selling the truck cause they can't afford to replace the tires.

Well certainly it has a limited market, and the truck looks over built or over developed to the point where it is going to be a very tough item to sell at the price asked. I personally would like the truck much better if it had been left completely stock. To some it is a work of art, to others its useless trash.
