What you are feeling is the ABS cycling. If the new rotors tone wheel is slightly further from the wheel speed sensor it will read slightly different mph than the rest, making the abs computer think that wheel is losing traction. I have had luck taking the wheel speed sensor out and cleaning the mounting surface with some fine grit sand paper. You really need a graphing scanner to catch the difference in speed signal but try cleaning both sides. A crack in the tone wheel not likely sounds like a guess. A worn wheel bearing can give you the same problems as well.
I have not visibly seen the crack, I am only going with what the dealer said is the issue. I do hope to get under the truck on Saturday and visibly see the crack. I will even try and take a picture of it and post it on the forum.
Either way, I would LOVE for it to be resolved as it is NOT fun to drive in the rain with it doing what it is doing. I could only imagine what it would be like driving in the snow. Until I get it fixed, I am a little leary of pulling my boat with the truck as well.
On a side note, I did get my 3 in 1 guage so hopefully I can get that installed this weekend!
