Power Mirrors

I have a 2002 f 150 XLT. My mirrors stop working. Before they stop, they made a chicking sound and then nothing. Checked fuse and switch. How do I get the glass out of the housing. Thanks

Power Programmer

I have a 2002 5.4 f 150. I have all the power I need to tow my 27 foot TT. Better gas mileage would be nice. Has any one tried the Hypertect Power Programmer. If so, Did it help. Thanks

Hypertect is the worst programmer out there!

The power mirrors snap in the housing.
You can pop them off.
Best way to do it is remove the housing from the truck. Put it on a work bench, try to get something wedged behind the glass in the center and pull and pry at the same time.
Use heavy gloves and safety glasses just it case it breaks!!

I used an SCT on my truck when it was pretty much stock. It was nice.

Ask in the tuner section. You'll get more opinions on whats good.

Mirrors

I'de try just pushing the glass around with my finger then using the witch before you do anything, sometimes even new cars can get stuck in the wrong position with regards to the power mirror motor.
