Clutch interlock

Has anyone disabled the clutch interlock switch that prevents you from starting the engine without depressing the clutch ? Mine is a '96 and it's just an annoyance that I no longer wish to put up with.

Haven't done it, but I can tell you where it is. There's a plastic cylindrical gizmo wrapped around the m/c pushrod up under the dash. Two separate switches in one unit, actually. Four wires. The two closest to the driver are to interrupt the cruise; they open the circuit right off the TOP of the pedal travel. The two wires closest to the firewall are the starter lockout. They close the circuit only when the pedal is at the BOTTOM. You could push those two terminals out of the connector (or cut them off) and jumper (or solder) them. Or, wire in a hidden switch on those two wires for a poor-man's security system (starter kill switch).

Thanks, that saves me trying to figure out which wires to put together.
