If it is CJ-4 rated, it is to spec.

Just match the grade to your temperature range.

It appears that all of the diesel oil around here is 4 qts. and a lot, not all, of the gasser oil is 5 qts.

I have used Mobil 1 Delvac in both of my 6.0L Excursions. See signature. 2003 from new, 2005 after 60,000 miles. I DID lose the HPOP on 2003 at 150,000 miles, but I don't this was caused by the oil.

Mobil Delvac 15W-40 is a sleeper oil. It's known for outstanding UOA and second to done engine cleanliness. Use it with confidence!
