Alright guys so me and my buddy are going and looking at a couple dentsides tommorow to hopefully get him a truck. He really likes my 78 and hes in need of a truck anyway. So I know the basics to look for when buying a truck like creamy oil and to listen for ticks and knocks, good shifting, good startup, and that kind of stuff but what are some other things you guys can think of for me too look for? Im sure I'm missing something and I wanna make sure we get him a good truck for the money. Thanks again guys. Btw, we're going tommorow!
besides the normal stuff to look for i look for some of the following when looking at a dent:
-if all electrical works
-bring a magnet to check for bondo ( a good body man will make it very hard to tell bondo was used)
-crawl under the cab to check out:
floor pans, cab mounts, driveline.
-i also crawl under the front and rear to check for leaks and look at the frame for rot ect ect
