Engine Code Help

Hi Guys,
My truck threw a couple codes in the last 2 months and I've tried looking into it but aside from determining what they are, I can't determine what the cause might be and if it's serious or not. First one is the P162E code for the PTO, not sure if this one has to do with me using my fast idle? Also the P2263 code for the Turbo has come on, both times have been while driving down the highway at highway speeds. If anyone can provide more info as to what the cause might be and if I should be concerned I would really appreciate it. I use my truck for work and don't have the time to drop it at the dealer unless I absolutely have to so if they're not serious then I will just keep clearing them and not worry. I have not noticed any performance issues and assume they are just electrical issues but would like to be sure. Thanks in advance.

Here is what it says:
P2263 X Turbocharger/Supercharger
Boost System Performance
This error occurs when the difference between the
gage exhaust pressur and the set point is less than
the minimum threshold or greater than the maximum
threshold for a predetermined period of time.
Engine speed > 550 rpm
Torque set point > 50 N-m,
ECT > 81 deg C
IAT > -50 deg C
No DPF regeneration request
EP setpoint is stable
Based on a table on N and TQI >5sec
System error

Not sure what to make of it. Check your electrical connections is what I'd say

The other, Internal Control Module PTO performance. Not sure what to make of that. According to what I can tell the PCM monitors this continually and should throw a wrench light on.

I think this is going to be VERY difficult to figure out for those of us who don't know the specifics of how the Spartan tune works. I would guess that even folks like Cheezit and Vloney would have a tough time with this.

I'd recommend, if you haven't already, asking for help on the Spartan forums. They know more about this kind of thing...

Well im not sure about the fast idle. I used the battery voltage to trigger mine instead of the Pto not sure how u wired yours. As for the Boost performance code i have seen this code about three times in the 3 years or so iv had the spartan tuner all times were when i was pulling boost over 30psi for an extended amount of time i just cleared the code and never realy have had an issue.

Thanks for the replies. I cleared the codes yesterday and they were back again today. However I did notice that they only appeared after I had been using my cruise for an hour or so and then kicked it off. I also noted that every time it has thrown these codes it was extremely cold out (today was -32C plus a good wind) so my thinking is that the cold weather is to blame. The truck has never thrown a code in warm weather so I will keep an eye on things and go from there. Temps should start to warm up here in the next month or so and I'll see how things progress. Cheers

And Crazy on a side note I will check the Spartan site if it persists, I was not sure if these codes related to the tuner or not so I started my search here, thanks again.
