Explorer Rim size

I have a set of factory 1997 16 inch Explorer rims on my 1991 XPL and am wanting to purchase some American Racing Outlaw II wheels but not sure if they are 16X7 or
16X8, so can some one help me on this ??

They came off a 1997 XPL Sport and are original to that vehicle !

Most, if not all, of the Explorer OEM wheels are 7" wide but if I were buying new wheels I'd go 8".

I have 16” x 8” wheels & 265/70R16 tyres on my 98. Fit fine and no rubbing.

I have 255 70/16, so would 16X8 still be OK ?
