Help...i think somthings wrong

Hey Guys. I bought this truck quite excitedly.1990 F-250 4x4 flatdeck. When I got it home I noticed a gap between the front 1/4 and the drivers door. Aswell the driver side front wheel seems to sit on an extreme negative camber...Anyway I'd just like to know if you think I might have some big issues...I'll post some pics when I figure out how

You thinking someone smashed her and messed up the frame, then put a bandaid on it and sold it to ya?

I would love to offer you some help on this... but I have no idea, hopefully by getting a couple posts on here it bumps and gets some more attention.

I do know that getting the fenders and doors lined up on these trucks isn't exactly the easiest project.

Maybe they just caught something on that side of the truck and pulled some steering and suspension bits out of line and smashed a fender... replaced the fender and didn't hang it worth a crap and then did the same with the wheel...

Just being optimistic!

Hope it's not as bad as yer thinking.

I would figure that if the frame was comprimised, that the rig would dog-track somewhat. But the camber issue could be the 'a' arm, ball joints, etc...Too many variables with prior front-end issues...

Well on the up-side if it is just front end issues I'm hoping to find a solid axle to swap in anyway.... I was looking under the hood today and it's got a TON of mickey mouse wiring done so I'm gonna be doing some elecrtical work as well

Check the crumple zone on the front of the frame rails. Thats a good start. If their cut off i'd be worried. Also under the hood check the bolts holding the front fender/rad support/wiper cowl. If they look like they have been off or the paints dont match/line up then you know something is up. Unfortunately the frame paint on this generation ford really isnt great and looking for stress cracks in it is unlikely. Good luck man.

Now this is some good sound logical advice!

This isn't even my issue but I am definitely going to give you a rate up on this.
