Are these two roller cams the same?
I have a 89 lincoln TC 302 with the crappy heads. I bought some GT40p heads really cheap to fix that when I get it rebuilt. I was wandering if the roller cam that is in the lincoln is the same as the one that was in the 96-2001 Explorers. I have researched and there seems to be the HO cams and BASE cams. So I figured the cams might be the same? I know the lincoln and explorer cams would have great low end torque.

No these are not the same and there are actually 3 different factory roller cams. The smallest one(by a mile) is the Towncar/CrownVic cam, the next biggest is the Explorer/'94+ truck cam, and the biggest is the Mustang HO cam.
