96 250 left door problem
I have a request for instructions (detailed Pls.) on trouble shooting a problem in the left (driver's side) door. I have 338 K mi. on my truck and I'm sure the opening/closing of this door over time has worn something out. I've broken 3 handles over the last 3 mo. This info, I hope, will help me not to break anything else in the process of repair. I would appreciate any help in pinpointing and fixing this problem. Info on how to get the panel off without breaking it would be nice to...just color me inexperienced but I'm learning.

I have a 96' F250 4X4 with 330,000 mile I too have gone through 3 door handles (interior) when I finally replaced the last one i decided to change out the cable thining it was stretched. Well i put the door panel back together and found out I still had the same problem. So I removed everything again and started a thorough investigation to find out that the hinged peice that you bolt the door handle on is VERY worn out going to my local wrecking yard I found one from a truck with alot less miles and replaced it best $7 I ever spent. give it a good look could be the same issue.
