finding transmission
i am having a hard time finding a 4 speed with over drive transmission for my 1989 f150 2 wheel drive i cannot get it to sift right is there other years that will work or models and where is the best place to find one thank you josh

check behind the engine under the truck, bet you might find one in that location. lol

What engine do you have in your truck?
If i remember right the bell housing for the 4.9L and the small blocks are the same.
If you have a 4.9L i have a 4speed with no OD that i would sell. Out of curiosity why do you want a 4speed with OD? Do you just want a top loader tranny? You can put a mazda m50d which is a 5speed in it.
