Core support question?
I have a 1966 F-100 Custom Cab and needed to replace the core support. I have researched the posts and read the pros and cons on the REPROS I opted to purchase a rust free one from a 1965 and noticed that the radiator mounts closer to the engine because the core has brackets that jut out towards engine. Is this the only issue with this unit to be concerned about inner fender mounts look the same. I hope shorter fan spacer is all I need to correct this difference. Does anyone know why this change was made from 65 to 66 it seems like a big undertaking from one model year to the next especially since the redesign for 67. Just curious.

O.K. I just found Bluestangs tech post on core supports. I don't know how I missed it earlier I reworded my search in the archives and it came up. I understand what I need to do now. Sory guys for asking a repetative question. Great Info Bluestang.
