FUEL INJECTION QUESTIONS
apparently i have leaking injectors(or at least one) on the old girl...
upon inspection i have a "WET" spot on my passenger valve cover, not oil or blowby but a clear wet looking spot right near one of the middle injectors
my idle has gotten progressively worse over last month, as well as my gas mileage and idle quality.....
im going to install a set of reman injectors with the updated 4 port design, i have a choice between 19lb and/or 24lb, same price for either, and im planning on mild upgrades in the future.... decent weekender cam, MAF swap, etc.... would the 19's be ok or do i need to go higher?.....what if any differences would i see now?? right now im SD
also plan on swapping to O sensor for a new one, i have already gutted the cat, fresh plugs and maybe fresh wires as well....see sig for ignition info...
my previous 16/23mpg has dropped to around 10/15 at the moment, so i definitely am having issues with something.....
does anyone have any other ideas about what might be causing my problems ??
how hard is it to swap the injectors? any special tools needed?
im assuming now is a good time to swap in a new pressure regulator as well, will i need to do anything with the fuel rail ??
