Is there an affordable programmer out there that I can buy that works really well????????

i would suggest the sct sf3 tuner with custom tunes from matt at gearhead

A custom tunner is the only way to go with a 6.0!! I would go with either matt at gearhead, or Eric at innovative.

You can find used SCT's a bit cheaper on ebay - I bought a SCT X3 off ebay from a mustang owner for $225 - then $100 in custom tunes from Matt. Not too bad

yep, here's hoping you get one that works off ebay -
excuse my ignorance, but does ebay offer any buyer protection for that type thing ?

I'm not a huge fan of ebay, he wanted affordable. I use Paypal and they offer some protection. Its always a bit a crap shoot, and often there are no warranties. That said, the frequent sellers dread negative feedback - it leads to higher fees - so they are generally very eager to please.
