Time for Oil Change

It is time for my first oil change in my EL. But i need giudance, it is a 07 Limited EL, 5.4 3V with 91,000 miles. And i do not know what kind of oil to use. Synthetic? Non-Synthetic? 5W-30? 10W-40?

Synthetic Blend 5W-20 is what the manual on the F150 5.4L 3v recommends. Should be the same for you.

Ford uses a synthetic blend. I know my local dealer has a quick lube location and it is very cheap for them to do it.

Use what the manual says. Use a Motocraft filter NEVER FRAM!

The Ford dealer in York PA has a dual lane "drive thru" oil change, tire rotation bay that's really convenient and fast. No questions about what weight oil or filter there!

Ford has a 5000 mile interval for '07 and 7500 mile interval for '08 and later. I've not seen any differences in the engines though.
