I assume this has been addressed before but the only response I could find was from 2005 and the suggestion was to go to a junk yard with an extension cord and angle grinder - but in the absence of a) a like truck in a junk yard and b) a junk yard within 3 hours of my city, is there some where these can be ordered from?
seems like a weak part and therefore maybe someone manufactures them still or ford still supplies them?
the threaded section on the passenger side is missing and the shock will not stay on
also, in search of an air cleaner, the carb is the standard 6 cylinder type with smallish opening (2"?). there is a triangular keeper thing at the top with a bolt and wing nut on the top

Fits: 1965/69 F100/250 2WD / 1966/69 F100 4WD / The stud is made as part of the bracket.
DENNIS CARPENTER NOSOBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 800-476-9653 / 704-786-8139.
No Ford Dealer, no other obsolete parts vendor has any.
I looked in Carpenter's 1957/66 & 1967/79 truck repro parts catalogs, it's not listed. Carolina Classics & The Truck & Car Shop's repro catalogs don't list it either.
There are other repro parts sellers, but these are the only catalogs I have.
I did go through Carpenters last night and NPD but came up short on both sites.
I now realize I did not say which side so hopefully it is interchangeable.
