Leaking
Hey Guys:
I have a leak, and I cannot find where it is coming from.
At first I thought it might be the water pump. Leak is at center of truck, but back under the engine. I have checked and checked and can find no evidence that it is the pump.
The liquid on the ground is about the color of Gold antifreeze, although I am partially color blind. I could be red. It has a slight oily feel to it, when rubbed between the fingers.
It appears to be wet on the battery ground strap, just below the fuel drain. Aha it is fuel shut off, but it doesn't smell like fuel.
It is very wet along the length of the brake line that runs along the front cross member and drips from the lowest point.
Could it be a brake line leaking? Sorry for the long post, but this old man is stumped.
Any suggestions appreciated. Jim
